Follow these quick guides to open the receiver, pair your phone, send a supported video link, and fix common playback issues.

Step-by-step setup
Start with the receiver, pair your phone, then send a supported video link from the GlassCast app.
Set up the receiver
Open the GlassCast receiver on your Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses to generate a session code.
- Put on your Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses and make sure they are powered on.

Pairing connects the GlassCast app on your phone to the receiver shown on your glasses.
- Open the GlassCast app on your Android phone.
- Enter the session code shown on the receiver.
- Tap "Save or Pair" to connect your phone.
- Confirm the app shows a ready-to-cast state.
Send a video link
Send supported video links from your phone to the receiver.
- Find a supported YouTube, Dailymotion, or direct video link.
- Paste the link into the GlassCast app or share it to GlassCast from another app.
- Tap the cast/send button to load the video on the receiver.
- Use your phone to control playback when supported.
Fix playback issues
If a video does not load or behaves unexpectedly, check these common causes.
- Blocked embeds: Some videos prevent playback outside their original site.
- Unsupported sources: Some platforms use proprietary players that may not work in the receiver.
- Timeline controls: Seeking may be limited on some videos or live streams.
- Permissions: Make sure your glasses have an active connection and browser access enabled.
Supported links vary by source.
Some video services block embedding, browser playback, or timeline controls. GlassCast works best with supported public video links and sources that allow playback in the receiver.
